University Recreation is now hiring student staff to join our team as Facility operations associates — a vital role that keeps our facilities running smoothly while providing an outstanding experience for our members.
Facility operations associates are responsible for supporting the daily functions of all UREC facilities. As part of the Facility Operations team, these student employees serve as the first point of contact for members, offering administrative and customer service assistance throughout the facility.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing excellent customer service to all members and guests
- Monitoring and cleaning the weight room and cardio areas
- Surveying program areas to help ensure member safety
- Checking member access and assisting with equipment checkout
- Responding to member needs and solving facility-related issues
