University Recreation features three facilities, all designed to offer a clean, well-maintained environment for an enhanced member experience.

Facilities

Aquatic Center

The Aquatic Center, home to The University of Alabama Swimming and Diving team, offers recreational swimming and other aquatic educational opportunities year-round in its recently renovated pools. The 10-lane, 25-yard by 25-meter outdoor pool equipped with heating and cooling systems for year-round pool temperature comfort and also has overhead heating underneath an awning for cooler weather. The 50-meter Olympic Pool includes a new indoor environment control and dehumidification system, overhead LED lighting, and deck coating.

Student Recreation Center

The Student Recreation Center (SRC) is the perfect place to mingle in the weight room, catch a Group Ex class or plan a weekend getaway with Outdoor Recreation. The Student Recreation Center is the main recreation hub for UA and is home to Intramural Sports, Sport Clubs, Outdoor Recreation, Group Exercise, Fitness Services, and Drayer Physical Therapy. The SRC footprint includes the Outdoor Pool, Tennis/Pickleball, and Field Complexes.

Robert E. Witt Student Activity Center

The Robert E. Witt Student Activity Center offers a scenic setting to catch lofty views from the 40-foot climbing wall or sights of the Black Warrior River through floor-to-ceiling windows from the cardio floor. The Robert E. Witt Student Activity Center invites all students and patrons to enjoy working out in this aesthetic location.
