Pilates is a holistic approach to whole-body movement and wellness for all fitness levels. University Recreation is equipped with seven Balanced Body Allegro® Reformers as well as towers, jump boards, spine correctors, an EXO Chair, and other various props to enhance your Pilates practice. Our instructors are trained to work with all clients and provide a safe environment. We offer semi-private and small group sessions and work to accommodate your busy schedule. If you are comfortable moving on a Reformer or have had prior sessions, you may benefit from registering for weekly classes.

Join a weekly class
Pilates Reformer Classes are perfect for those dropping in weekly and who feel comfortable moving on a reformer. Classes move at a quick pace and all participants should feel confident transitioning between exercises, changing springs and familiar with basic Pilates terminology. Clients new to pilates should sign up for a Reformer Intro class. The Reformer Intro class will include an equipment orientation, basic breathing techniques, proper alignment techniques, an overview of policies and procedures for the Reformer program, and an abbreviated beginner workout depending on time and participants.
Registration for Pilates Reformer and Intro Pilates Reformer classes will close three hours before the class start time. There are no refunds or make ups for missed classes. Pilates Reformer classes are $20 each and Intro Reformer classes are $10 each.
Individual and Small Group Reformer Session Packages
Individual Sessions: Work in a one-on-one setting with customized programming and in-depth guidance to support specific needs. This is designed for all skill levels and allows for a personalized Pilates experience.
Small Group Sessions (2-6 members): Designed to provide a high level of individualized attention within a focused and supportive environment. These sessions offer the unique experience of personalized instruction while enjoying the motivation and energy of a shared practice. Prior to purchasing sessions, please ensure a group has been created. Contact the Fitness Programs Coordinator of Group Exercise with any questions pertaining to group formation.
