The Witt Center Climbing Wall boasts a 40 foot wall that offers bouldering, top rope and lead climbing. University Recreation also hosts an annual climbing competition. Membership or a day pass are required after your first free climbing session.

The first visit to the climbing wall is free. After the first visit, members can select a semester, month or day pass option. All memberships include free shoe rental.
Climbing Wall Group Rental Rates

Climbing Competition
The 18th Annual T-Town Pull Down Climbing Competition returns February 2026! Join us for a full day of friendly but fierce competition at the Robert E. Witt Student Activity Center on The University of Alabama campus.
The climbing competition will open the end of 2025.
